HEC E-Attestation in 2026
The Higher Education Commission moved to a fully online, paperless degree attestation system from 11 May 2026. Instead of a stamp on your degree, HEC issues an electronic certificate that you download from your dashboard. Previously issued attestations remain valid and verifiable online.
HEC attestation is the first step for most university documents. After it, you file for apostille or MOFA attestation depending on the destination, and then the embassy where needed, such as the UAE Embassy.
